EIGA (IGC Doc 51/02)

It ensures that member companies achieve the highest level of safety and environmental care in the handling of gases. EIGA is connected to other Standardization and Regulatory Organizations and Authorities.
Section 8 of the ASME Code
Any machinery that complies with section 8 of the ASME Code is safe for use as it is approved for its quality. All plant manufacturers are required comply with the requirements of the ASME Code if they want to sell their machinery into North America. ASME Code defines internationally recognized standards for the design, manufacture, inspection, erection, commission, installation and testing of all kinds of machines.
